Share the Love ListStopped at Caribou Coffee in Menomonie for the first time, going thru to pay and pick up our drinks and the lady said someone paid for our drinks and said Merry Christmas. So wonderful to be blessed. Which in turned made us want to bless someone else. So gave 40 dollars to a gas station attendant and asked her to bless two people with 20 dollars towards their bill.I left a note on the windshield of a car saying I liked their license plate....SEEK GODI am handicapped and walk slowly with a cane. We went to a musical play and our seats were in the middle. All the people sitting on the end got up and moved over so I could sit in the aisle chair.We have been struggling with a sick daughter and her medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. In the midst of all this we had major water damage to our home. Friends and people from our church came together and built us a debt free home. We move in this weekend. Praise God!I was going to McDonald for a mcflurry, the guy behind us looked sad, so I asked to pay for his meal, the McDonald workers were surprised like they've never seen someone do this before and they were happy that they got to participate. The smile on the guys face made my night!:)On my way into a doctor appointment with the kids I ran out of gas. The only person that I could think of that was not at a job and might not be busy was the mom of one of my older sons life long friends. She came right away with some gas to get me on my way. I refilled that gas can and brought it back that day with LOTS of thanks.We were in a local thrift shop and my kids kept asking for toys. I kept telling them no. An older gentleman came over and slipped me $10 and asked me to buy them something. Received money by mail anonymously so my family and I could go out to a nice place for supper.I went to an evening outdoor concert and my eye sight is poor at night but when I got up to leave an older man came over and said to grab his arm and he took me to the car.my son's car wouldn't start in the driveway so he was gonna push it into the garage. I got in to steer and as he started to push, a car stopped on the road and a guy got out and helped him push it up the driveway into the garage, then left. Don't know who he was but THANKS!last week when I went to small group they bought me flowers, balloon,and a card for my birthday I loved them very much and made me feel very speciala Teenager has been reading the newspaper to me on cassette tape for the past year and a half. I am seeing impaired and appreciate this very muchtook my mom shopping and running errands as she has a break in her foot and can't driveMy daughter got sick in the car on the way home. My husband (who was alone with them) pulled into a gas station. A woman in the next car gave him a towel from her car to clean our daughter up. We still have the towel (which is nicer than any of our other ones). Every time I fold it I say a quick prayer for the woman's kindness.I knew a family that was struggling financially. I found a web site that carried the basics and would agree to send my order to that family anonymously. I ordered things such as toothpaste, laundry detergent, bath soap and other staples. That way, they could use their money for other things.the neighbor boy was outside without mittens and so I gave him a pair I had made
a friend found a copy of a movie from 1979 and when she heard I had been looking for it, she gave me her copyI received a call, from one of my very best friends today, who told me that someone had paid off her layaway bill at K-Mart in Menomonie. What an angel, whoever did this.my boss brought the mail in so I wouldn't have to head out in the cold todayAs my daughter fueled up a generous gentleman paid for her fuel before she could. It was such a blessing that she cried. The man didn't know her or she know him, but he said "Remember Jesus is the reason for Christmas, not Santa." I believe it was a witness to the store clerk as well! Thank God for this man.I've been without a job for a few years now, and am in awe that every year on my birthday friends who are in just as tough a financial situation send me not only birthday wishes but money as well. I tear up every time knowing the sacrifice that tookWhen my goat barn burned down I lost my whole flock - a top ranked breeder from OH donated 3 goats to get me back up and running - she even drove them from OH to WI!someone in my book club said she thought I had "beautiful hands" (I had never thought of my hands as anything special)As we waiting for our drinks at the coffee shop a lady, says, "My name is Laura, can I give you a quarter?" I was like, "Sure, thanks!" Then she proceeded to approach everyone in the storeSomeone sent an anonymous gift of money in the mail. Was much appreciated during these difficult economic timesI baked apple crisp and delivered them as a surprise for 3 of my friends who had difficult weeksI visited relatives who are home boundWe have been having nothing but trouble with our vehicles lately and knowing that all of our emergency fund was gone paying the bills, I was not looking forward to picking up the latest bill at the auto repair shop. When I did the repairman said that there was $150 put down towards our bill he couldn't tell me who did it, but he said they did because we are "good people"my son lost his wallet and was just about to go replace his driver's license when we got a call that a hwy worker found it and had his wife search the internet to find a number to reach him.My husband bought building supplies and couldn't fit them all in his car. The person parked next to him offered to go through our town to bring our lumber home. What a blessing!my 19-yr-old son did the family laundry while I was at workMy dear friend bought me a book I have been wanting. She even delivered it to my front door!My husband & I and our 2 teenage boys helped a single mom friend of mine in re-roofing her garage.My son fell last night and hurt himself pretty bad. My daughter always gives him a hug & kiss at bedtime; last night was no different. I went into his room after she had been in there and saw that she given him her big stuffed animal dog (one of her favorites), for the night to make him feel better.On my way to work this morning I was thinking about my mom, so I gave her a call to tell her I love her and wish her a good daya lady at our church recently lost her mother. When I saw her walking toward me this past Sun, I gave her a hug.I dropped my new season-long bike trail pass the day I bought it, and someone turned it in, and it got mailed back to me. Wish I could thank that person!My friend and neighbor came over and put my deck on my lawnmower. My husband is recovering from surgery and couldn't do the required liftingMy mother (who never gives compliments) told me I was pretty. It made my day!While my wife was at a medical supply store, there was a person that needed an item that costs over $40 and did not have the money or insurance to pay for it. My wife said she would pay for it. The person said, Thank You to my wife. My wife replied and said, Thank Jesus.my friend's husband works for an appliance store. Sometimes customers get new appliances and don't want the perfectly good used ones. They are then donated to a local church and given out as needed. He has been the middle man to get me 3 very nice, new condition appliances that I needed. He and his wife are Christians and are sharing the love!On my way to work one morning while driving through a construction site, I acquired two flat tires and had to have my vehicle towed to a service station. Unable to pay for new tires, a co-worker stepped forward and paid for all 4 tires on my car to be replaced as the remaining two tires were bad also.This morning my husband and a neighbor helped get someone unstuck on our street. Now that same neighbor is shoveling the end of my driveway, so that she could get her snow blower in the driveway to do the rest.during this last rain/sleet/snow, we were frantically trying to hand shovel our driveway in the early morning hours so my husband could get to work when our neighbor (also trying to get to work) stopped his driveway and came over with his big snow blower and cleared the end where the plow had left a large ridge of hard wet slush. That cut a good hour off our work so my husband was only 1/2 hr late.we were needing a vehicle cause we were expecting our fourth child and our car wasnt big enough. a friend and her husband bought one for us.as I was driving I noticed a woman was walking down the middle of the snowy street, trying to carry a box of Girl Scout cookies and drag her "backpack on wheels" through the slush. I stopped and offered her a ride the 3 or so blocks to the UniversityI gave freshly caught and cleaned fish to my neighbor who loves them but does not fish or clean them.my co-worker washed my lunch dishes for meI provided supper for a family on their moving day.when wearing a new pair of earrings a co-worker said they were the most beautiful earrings she had ever seen, the next day I gave them to herDuring our recent snowstorm, just over a foot, I pushed my wife's car and a neighbor's car out of our residential street onto the main road so that they each could get to work. This happened at different times over the course of the storm.my teenage boys came across a gentleman whose car had died so they helped push him across the road to a gas station to get his car out of the line of traffic.while at work, I went out to get the mail and when I returned I found a box of Raisinets on my desk (I love Raisinets)Go to your local school and thank the teachers of your children for the fine job they do in educating your childrenI accidentally forgot my purse at Target in the carts outside. I didn't realize until I got home. By the time we got back to Target, it had probably been about 20 minutes. I went to the lost and found and they had it there, unopened and untouched.the boss brought all the ladies in our office some popcorn from a real popcorn makerI was waiting for a ride at the clinic one day and a young woman sat down by me who appeared to be frustrated. she didn't have enough money for some medication and would have to come back the next day for it. She didn't have a ride. I gave her the money and she was so very grateful. work at a car lot and every time I drive one of our cars I make sure the radio is turned on and tuned in to WWIB before I turn the car off. That way the next person to start the car will hear at least a little bit of your great programming.this past snowstorm left us stranded away from home, our neighbor cleared the 4' drift in our driveway before he left for work Sun so we could drive right in when we got home, then the plow finally came by his house, so my boys and I cleared the end of his driveway so he could drive right in after workThe other night I was on call. It was cold outside and warm inside. Late in the evening, I got a call to go out. When I returned, my husband had warmed up my p.j.'s with the heating pad. It made it great to get to sleep before work the next day.one of our customers knew of a person in dire need of tires for their vehicle. We had the pleasure of finding tires and installing them. Kudos to our friends who paid for the tires and installation for this person in need!My small group from our woman's bible study was going to go out for dinner as a special mom's night out. Instead, we all made dinner for the women and children at Bolton Refuge House.Giving turkeys to those who are in need for Thanksgiving.I have been going some hard times. My church steped up and help me with the security deposit and first month rent. One member agree to help me for 6 months finical. It really was amazing to know that there are help really welling to help others out. And help me live a life with God. I go over in the afternoons, when I am done with school and help a home school family by teaching phonics or art, or just playing with the kids. Last week, I watched all the kids during naptime so that the mom could go grocery shopping without kids.I just dropped a note to a lady that had just lost her job. She said, "Thanks for caring about me". Such a little thing but it meant something big to her.Someone I knew from church had gone into the ditch a couple times last winter due to tires in severely poor condition. God had been blessing me financially at that time, and I decided to buy him a set of tires and leave them on his door step. a friend took me out for breakfast for my birthdaymy son bought me lunch while we were out for a Dr visit for himI saw a young man mowing the lawn at church and decided to buy him a brat from a fundraiser stand as a thank you. The man ahead of me in line was from our church and ended up paying for the brat. By the time I got back to church the young man was gone so I ended up giving it to our church secretary who had not had lunch yet. Funny how things work out sometimesI have been having health problems for a couple of weeks and a very dear neighbor brought some great food for us.
Sent money anonymously to a person that has lost his job due to illness.Putting up a shed for a person that is to weak to put it up.My husband took me out to dinner and a movie. A much needed break.My 12 year old son helped when i was having trouble breathingmy dad helped me fix my car(on his b-day)a friend brought a bunch of food over so we didn't have to worry about cooking all weeksomeone gave me job to make extra money this weekend. It was wonderful!A friend helped me to feel better about just being me. my wife helped me with preparing sunday school/bible study lessons so they wouldn't be last minute thrown together.I was rushing to head back to work to do my OT and my son came in with Pizza so I didn't have to worry about making dinneri have been really sick with a sinus infection n my 3 boys all 5 and under snuggled up to me to make me feel better n helped daddy with any thing they were capable of even thou they all had colds tomy wonderful husband cleaned like crazy while giving me an entire day all to my self ... spending time with our four amazing girlsMy brother and his wife gave me a ride to church.I've not been feeling well, and my husband has been doing dishes, laundry, cleaning, and cooking! made being sick not so bad!My husband cleaned the bathrooms!Members of my bible study prayed for me and the job interview I have today @2:00. So thankful for their support!My hubby and daughters deep cleaned the kitchen, and also a new friend came and help us chop and split wood for the winter! woohoooMy wonderful children quietly watched a veggie tales video so I could get a much needed nap on Saturday. Love you guys so so much!My friend loaned me her camera flash for a wedding I was shootingMy friend helped me teach my kids how to pick apples and this Sat she's going to help us can em!One of my daycare parents did all the picture taking for me at our annual daycare party Saturday and she did a fantastic job!My mother-in-law watched my son so I could have a day with my momSon pulled the alternator off the Excursion to fix it for us so his dad didn't need to do it after having a heart attack last week. Thank you Lord for a good son!My sister in law made me breakfast, my parents watched my kids so I could have a "day off", my brother and sister in law took my daughter over night, and my hubby played with our kids while I napped! Took care of my wife,who spent most of the weekend sick in bed.Did some volunteer work at Refuge Farms Horse Rescue in Spring Valley.Helped the in-laws of my in-laws move to a new home on Saturday.We helped our Pastor and his wife by tying down their new trailer home, doing repairs, helped them pack up their old place, and wipe down the walls.Gave a friend who recently lost his mother a hug.Shared my testimony with a young girl who is going through some of the same struggles I went through.i took one of my friends to my church. it was her first time there.took care of my siblings while my parents went to take care of my dying great grandpa.I helped my children form memories and a keepsake of our trip to Door county!prayed my husbands step father who is not doing well had a massive stroke. brought them supper and brownies my daughter made.participated in Emma's Hope walk, a walk dedicated to raising money for children's cancer research fundMy neighbor passed last week and prayed for his family to be strong in this time of sorrow and find comfort in Him.took my 1st grade daughter to family fun night for her new schoolMet with other pastor's & wives from around WI to praymy husband brought me some coffee on a day I was running lateHelped my husband work on his car!Helped an elderly lady at church open doorsGave A big hug when my friend was feeling down.Donated money to MDA to help the children of GodMy Dad forgot his wallet at a restaurant and it was returned with all the money inside2 teen-aged boys helped a lady who fell outside a restaurant get back up and refilled her drinkPaid for a lady in front of them in lines items she had to put back because she didn't have enough moneya neighbor fed my husband and kids while I was in the hospital after surgery, and then she brought another meal especially for me on the 1st day I had to return back to work so supper was taken care of when I got home.

A woman going into the store held an umbrella over me while I put the groceries in the trunk.changed the tire on a band's vanGave a donation to the Food For The Hungry organization.Helped my neighbor weed his flower bedWent to a nursing home and talked with the residentsWhen our dog died unexpectedly, our neighbor brought us dinner, cards from the kids and flowers. When I'm getting ready to pay at stores and I have a cart load, I try to watch for people that only have a couple items and let them go ahead of me.ONE MORNING WHILE IN THE DRIVE THROUGH OUR PASTOR WAS AHEAD OF ME AND BOUGHT MY BREAKFAST AND I THAN BOUGHT THE PEOPLE BEHIND ME THEIR BREAKFAST. IT WAS A AWESOME FEELING :)Giving three big bags of clothes to the clothing driveThere was an older woman in front of me in the check out line in a motorized "cart". While I was checking out I watched her struggle to get her chair and cart past the checkouts. I asked her if she needed help. She gladly accepted. She enjoys the snack on her way home and it helps her stay awake.My son had surgery and our portion of the bill after insurance was $2700. The surgeon reduced the bill by 50%. This was such a blessing to us. We, in turn, were able to send extra money to a missionary family who have a grandson who needs heart surgery.I left some chocolate and a love note for my wife todayI cooked meals for my parents while my mother was healing from hand surgeryTook a person who can not drive to a Talent Show for a night out.every Fri (laundry day) morning when my husband gets up, he starts my bleach load (runs 2 hrs)then my high schoolers change that load when they get up, so by the time I get up at 7:30, 2 of my longest loads are done alreadythis morning my husband had to get up at 4:30 am for work so I got up while he was in the shower and cooked him a warm breakfast to start his dayMy daughter came and cleaned my house for my husband while I was gone visiting my mother in another state. It made coming home again so much more pleasant!!my sister-in-law bought a flowering plant from a high schooler going door-to-door, (while she was visiting my home), when I called her to let her know it had arrived, she surprised me by saying she bought it for me and for me to keep it.Christ In Action (C.I.A.) Sunday where members shared the love with the residents of Ladysmith, WI by doing various projects in the community.
