Providence Church invites the community to attend special services with Dave Glander on Sunday, July 17.
Dave was formerly a devout atheist prior to experiencing a radical encounter with Jesus Christ. He is now a deeply committed believer in Jesus Christ and the Bible.
Dave has been a pastor for many years and is the founder of an apologetics youth summer camp called EQUIP Retreat. He is one of the featured full-time speakers on the Reasons for Hope ministry team. He has taught at major national and regional conferences, universities, churches, and youth camps around the country and internationally. Dave is the author of “How, Why, Where” and the "Faith Survival Guide," an apologetics curriculum that is making a great impact with college groups, small groups, youth camps, and church seminars. He has also participated as a columnist for the largest homeschool magazine in the U.S. For many years he acted as the founder and curator of the “The Truth Museum,” a world-renowned collection of ancient artifacts and rare Bible leaves.
Additionally, Dave is the host of “Glad You Asked" TV show, and has been a featured guest on television talk shows and nationally syndicated radio shows, speaking on the subjects of Apologetics and Theology.
On July 17 Glander will be speaking during the 9:30 a.m. worship service and in the 11:00 a.m. Bible class. Providence Church is located at 23 W. Eau Claire St. in downtown Rice Lake. Call the church office at 234-1966 for more information.
