Event Title: Caring for Caregivers in the Elk Mound Area

Event Description: Caring for Caregivers Program in the Elk Mound Area: A caregiver training program in Elk Mound, WI, aimed at supporting caregivers in caring for their loved ones to help their loved ones age in place for as long as possible.

Beginning on February 5th, 2024, Nicole Mueller, Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Student at Mount Mary University, in partnership with Trinity United Methodist Church in Elk Mound, WI, will be hosting a Caring for Caregivers program. This program is a series of educational and interactive workshop for caregivers to promote wellness and safety including:
• February 5th: Home Safety & Fall Prevention
• February 19th: Caregiver Burnout Prevention
• March 4th: Promoting Brain Health
• March 18th: Celebration with Wellness Activities

This program is free of charge and is open to caregivers or future caregivers in Elk Mound and the surrounding communities. Sessions will last 45-60 minutes. If you would like more information about the Caring for Caregivers Program or to RSVP, please contact Nicole Mueller at muellern@mtmary.edu.
