Elizabeth Goff, a shoebox recipient from the Ukraine, will share her story. Elizabeth grew up in Eastern Ukraine and ended up in an orphanage when she was only 7 years old. While she was in the orphanage, she received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift. Because of the gift, she began to have hope that God would not leave her at rock bottom, but that He would meet her there, and become her family. At the age of 13, Elizabeth was adopted into an American family. Today she is very passionate about Operation Christmas Child and enjoys getting people involved in packing shoeboxes. To hear what God did in her life through a shoebox, please join us for a special time of Elizabeth sharing her testimony.
Elizabeth will be speaking twice in our area. On Saturday, October 8, she will be at Grace Baptist Church in Hallie (11591 17th Ave. Chippewa Falls) from 4:00-5:30pm and Sunday, October 9, at Love Church in Menomonie (710 Main St. E) at 7:00pm.
If you would be interested in speaking directly with someone about this opportunity or have questions, please contact our Team Coordinator, Christine Bishop (bishop.christinem@gmail.com).
