Spaghetti Dinner Silent Auction to Support Local Veterans
7th Annual “Veterans in Need” Fundraiser to Benefit Sofas for Service, Providing Free Furnishings to Local Veterans
Eau Claire, WI – April 15, 2025 — The community is invited to attend the 7th Annual Veterans in Need Fundraiser, a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction benefiting Sofas for Service, a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides free home furnishings to Veterans across Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota who are transitioning into stable housing or facing hardship.

Meal Prices:
● Adults: $15.00
● Veterans: $10.00
● Kids (ages 6–12): $5.00
● Kids 5 and under: Free

● A silent auction will be held at the event. Meal purchase not required to participate in the silent auction
All proceeds will be donated to Sofas for Service, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves Veterans within a 2- hour radius of Eau Claire, WI, by providing new and gently used furniture and home essentials to help them build stable and comfortable living environments. Sofas for Service is a dedicated effort ensuring Veterans transitioning into new housing have the necessary furnishings to create a comfortable and dignified home.
“This event is a fun and meaningful way to support those who have served our country,” said Jeff Staads, Board Chair of Sofas for Service. “Every plate served and every auction bid helps restore dignity and comfort to Veterans in our local communities.”

● Prior to the Event: Sofas for Service welcomes media interviews prior to the event to help build awareness and promote the cause. Local media tours of our warehouse facility may also be arranged to share the story and impact of what Sofas for Service does to serve our local Veterans. Our new warehouse opened in December of 2024. The name “Sofas for Service” does not do the organization justice, we welcome you to come see and share our story!
● Day of Event: Media are welcome to attend. Interviews with organizers and volunteers can be arranged.
