St Patrick’s Parish in Sparta Invites all to “Summerfest” on August 20th – 22nd

Saint Patrick Parish invites everyone to Summerfest, Friday August 20th, Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd.

Join us starting Friday, August 20th at 5:00pm at the Sparta Eagle’s Club, 9901 WI-21 Sparta, WI for a “Meat and Greet” (Grill your own Steak) and Potato Bar and stay for the Trap Shoot at 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome.

The fun continues on Saturday, August 21st, again at the Sparta Eagle’s Club, 9901 WI-21 Sparta, WI. The day begins at 11:00am with a variety of homemade treats at our Bake Sale, our Country Store where you can find an assortment of homegrown plants, vegetables, and flowers, our Arts & Crafts sale which has a wide selection of hand crafted items, and our Quilt Sale consisting of a collection of homemade quilts.

Also, at 11:00am your senses will lead you to a variety of Authentic Mexican FoodsGrilled Chicken and traditional refreshments (hotdogs, nachos, brats, chips, ice cream, popcorn, etc.) for you to enjoy.

Throughout the day you will also find:  Volleyball, Horseshoes, Bags, Kickball, Bingo, Family activities to include tug-o-war, penny pile, sack races, face painting, bounce house, a cup cake walk, and more. Along with many raffles, including a Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and our Summerfest raffle tickets for just $2.00 (3 for $5) for a chance to win these great prizes:  1st $2000 / 2nd $1000 / 3rd $500 / 4-9th $100 / 10th-15th $50 (need not be present to win).

Enjoy Music, dancing, refreshments and food throughout the afternoon and into the evening with a DJ from 1:00 – 4:00pm and Live Music from the band “La Constructiva de Oaxaca Mexico” from 5:00 – 8:00pm.

On Sunday, August 22nd, the action concludes with our sit down, drive through, or delivery “Baked Chicken Dinner” at St. Patrick’s Church, 100 South L Street Sparta, WI starting at 10:30am. For just $10.00, Seniors $8.00, Children $5.00 you can enjoy a wonderful homemade style meal.  Come for the meal then stay and our “Live Specialty Auction” starting at 12:30pm where you will have the chance to win one of many unique items. The festivities then conclude with our Summerfest Raffle ticket drawing at 2:00pm (need not be present to win).
