The Stanley Lions Club is holding its 47th Annual Watermelon Festival on Sunday, July 25th at Chapman Park in Stanley. There will be a craft show and flea market, 5k race/walk, kids 400 yard race, kids games, car show, free watermelon, Bingo, cake walk, charcoal chicken dinner, food stand, and licensed raffle.
