Event Title: Wilderness First Responder Courses at Camp Pepin

Event Date: May 06, 2024

Event Description: Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the definitive course in providing outdoor leaders and backcountry travelers with the core knowledge and skills necessary to deal with medical and traumatic emergencies in a wilderness environment. It's the most useful first aid course of its kind and is the expected standard by the outdoor industry. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles required to assess and manage medical problems in remote settings, and the certification is valid for three years.

Camp Pepin in Stockholm, Wisconsin, is hosting a full, five-day WFR Certification Course (May 6-10) and a three-day WFR Re-Cert Course (May 8-10). Registration fees include full room and board for the course dates (commuter option also available). Taught by Wilderness Medical Associates International instructor Phil Rach, past participants in these courses at Camp Pepin have left extremely pleased with their experiences.
