It's well known that mental health issues such as depression and anxiety are increasingly prevalent in our society. How do we account for this given the quality of life that so many people in America enjoy? Furthermore, what are Christians to do when they encounter mental health struggles - either personally or with loved ones? How helpful is our faith when we face these battles? Join us for a presentation which explores these questions. Our seminar examines the symptoms and causes of depression and anxiety, especially within our current culture, as we seek to understand why these issues are increasing. We also consider what God says in His word about mental health struggles, and how Christians should approach these topics in view of their faith in Christ and modern treatments.
